If you’re not ready for the evening to end, why not challenge your guests to a game of darts or pool on the clever table which can also be used for table tennis? Prepare for bed with a blissful soak in the bath with your favourite book, followed by fresh pyjamas and selecting from one of the four well-presented bedrooms to catch your rest in, a king-size with en-suite shower room, a twin with zip/link and basin, and two further twins with basins. Kick-start your day with a refreshing shower, followed by morning coffee on the terrace as you make plans for the day ahead. Pack up your bathing suits, swimming trunks, buckets and spades, and head straight for the golden sands of Greenaway Beach, where you can explore rock pools with the little ones, paddle the clear waters or kick-back and relax as you soak up the sunshine. The popular Oystercatcher Pub is just a short walk away, where you can treat the family to a tasty meal with a view, giving yourself the night off from the kitchen! Continue further into Polzeath, where you will find another stunning beach, well-known for being a surfer’s paradise, with a nearby surf school offering you the opportunity to try your hand at the local’s favourite sport. Be sure to make a stop at Rock, where you will find a wonderful beach with water-skiing on offer, as well as the renowned St Enodoc Golf Club, which offers amazing views over the River Camel. From Rock you can hop aboard the ferry which will take you to Padstow; here you can visit the National Lobster Hatchery and adopt your own hatchling, marvel at the wonders of the grand 16th-century Prideaux Place or sample the local delights at the Padstow Brewing Company, not forgetting to purchase your favourite tipple as a souvenir to remember your trip by.
