With delightful countryside views and a tranquil location with no disturbance, this pet-friendly retreat welcomes families and couples, idyllic for a romantic getaway. Step inside this characterful abode and discover a tasteful single-storey layout with beamed ceilings that exudes rustic charm. The contemporary kitchen is well-equipped for all your self-catering needs, while the snug living/dining room offers plenty of space to snuggle up with your loved one to watch a movie on the TV and enjoy an intimate dinner, for two, around the dining table. Outside, there is a front gravel area, where you can enjoy your morning coffee sitting on the furniture provided. Just a just a few steps away is the shared two-acre shared recreation field with picnic areas for al fresco dining, a gazebo with a gas barbecue and chimenea. Gas and wood are provided free of charge. Also provided are a selection of outdoor games such as swing-ball, boules and badminton. Hidden down a quiet byway you can escape with your loved one to the tranquil countryside with a stay at Babes Cottage.

Single-storey converted piggery. One double bedroom. Bathroom with bath, shower over, heated towel rail, and WC. Kitchen. Living/dining room with sofa bed. . Please note: This property only allows Friday to Friday bookings in June, July and August

Gas central heating and woodburner in living room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher. TV with Freesat, DVD player, DVDs, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair and travel cot available. Private driveway parking for 1 car- additional parking available. Sitting out area with patio furniture. Direct access to shared, enclosed recreation. Bike store. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.3 miles. Note: Additional cost for charging of electric vehicles on site and should be agreed with owner directly. Field with gazebo, picnic benches, gas barbecue, and chimenea. One well-behaved small - medium-sized size pet welcome. A few friendly requests........ Supervision – Please don’t leave your dog alone in the cottage, and keep them on a lead around the site (they’re welcome to run free in the recreation field when you’re with them). Barking – We love the peace and quiet here, so we ask that barking is kept to a minimum. Furniture – Paws off the furniture unless covered—we’re happy to provide sheets or towels.
