The area is steeped in culture and home to Pendeen Lighthouse, Geevor Tin Mine, The Exchange Gallery and the Penlee House and Gallery Museum, making for a delightful day out. The town of Penzance has an abundance of things to do during your visit; the charming Chapel Street runs from the centre of the town to the harbour, noting the quaint shops and cottages dating back to the 18th century and some even further! As well as rocky coves and sandy beaches, the surrounding areas are home to some beautiful gardens for you to explore such as Trengwainton Gardens, now run by the National Trust and Morrab Gardens, home to many exotic plants and trees in the gentle Cornish microclimate. A short car journey will take you to Land's End, the Britain's most south-westerly point, where you can gaze over the vast clifftops, the English Chanel and the Celtic Sea.
