When you feel ready to explore further, the medieval town of Lostwithiel is just a short drive away; here you will find a number of good restaurants and pubs, delicatessens and plenty of antique shops – something which the town has become famous for! The area surrounding Lostwithiel is a rambler’s paradise; mysterious and atmospheric Bodmin Moor is not far away, and the South West Coast Path offers some of the most beautiful scenery in the county. Visit the quintessentially Cornish ports of Polperro and Fowey, or catch the passenger ferry across to Mevagissey – you might even spot a dolphin on the way!
