When the yawning sets in, you can catch up on sleep in one of the two tastefully decorated bedrooms, a king-size with en-suite bathroom, and a twin with en-suite shower room. If you can bear to leave this idyllic home-from-home, take a stroll past the golf course, where you may practice your swing in the crisp sea air, and head for the coastal path that takes you down to the sandy beach of Hayle Sands. Take your dog for a stroll down the shore and soak up the sun while taking in the breath-taking views across the estuary and sea, and from here you can follow the coastal trail to the charming fishing village of Carbis Bay, where there are wonderful views from Hawkes Point and a picture-perfect beach, as well as a selection of eateries and independent shops. From here you can visit the bustling port of St Ives, a short train ride away, where you can explore the coast with a boat ride, try out home-made ice cream at the ice cream parlour, visit Tate St. Ives and Penwith Gallery and then gaze out over the blue waters from Porthmeor Beach. Hayle is close to the property and is home to several family-friendly attractions, including an outdoor pool where children may play safely, the rare bird and exotic animal exhibit and indoor play area at Paradise Park and JungleBarn, and the Estuary Nature Reserve.
