Providing the perfect place to relax, the very well-equipped kitchen and open plan dining / sitting room are both homely and welcoming. Acting as the hub of the house, this space is particularly social and is a great environment in which to unwind after a day exploring, and in the colder months, the log burner makes the room feel particularly cosy. In the evenings, retire to the upper floors, where there are three bedrooms; on the first floor the double bedroom leads through to a comfortable single bedroom and shared bathroom – a wonderful set up for families with little ones. Head up to the second floor and you will find a spacious master bedroom and a luxury en-suite bathroom. The private and enclosed garden boasts both patio and lawn, both of which provide a calm oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the village.
Poplar Cottage is perfectly situated to take advantage of the thriving, ambient village life, and is just a stone’s throw from the beach where you can enjoy rockpool rambles, or perhaps a tipple of two in one of the waterside pubs. Port Isaac is jam packed with independent shops, galleries and eateries, and you won’t find yourself short of things to do when visiting. Further afield, Polzeath and its world renowned surfing beach is just a short drive away, whilst the boating and sailing hub of Rock is nearby, from which you can catch the ferry to Padstow should you wish.
