The area offers something for everyone, with numerous outdoor activities, including walks and cycle rides from the doorstep. The pretty riverside towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth have traditional pubs, lovely tea rooms and individual shops. Further afield, enjoy the Black Mountains, Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), Hereford, Gloucester and the spa town of Cheltenham.
