Further afield is Burkes Activity Centre, which is only a short stroll away, and should appeal to families, with a host of activities including horse trekking. Pony trekking and horse riding can be enjoyed on the beach, and on mountain tracks and quiet country roads nearby. The magnificent four mile sandy stretch of Blue Flag Rossbeigh beach is also ideal for children. Golfers are particularly spoiled with many of Kerry's finest courses nearby, including Dooks, Killarney, Waterville, Beaufort, Tralee and Ballybunion. A delightful cottage in a beautiful location.
