To the front of the cottage visitors can enjoy the trickling sounds of the stream as it passes by the cottage. The bustling town of Castleisland is home to a wide variety of traditional pubs, restaurants and shops to browse of a lazy afternoon. This cottage is the perfect base to plan your Kerry adventure, with all of the county’s attractions within easy reach. Why not spend a day in Killarney where you can enjoy a jaunting car ride through the beautiful Gap of Dunloe?. There are lots of local walks including the Lyracrumpane Walk, Glangeenty Walk, Castleisland River Walk and the literary ramble in Listowel. Alternatively, step back in time at Ross Castle and Muckross House, or stretch your legs in the Killarney National Park. Further afield is Ireland’s glorious Wild Atlantic Way where you can discover the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry, both home to an abundance of striking coastal seascapes, sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.
