Lighthouse Hill is a beautiful, detached holiday home near Mulranny in County Mayo, offering far-reaching views of the Clew Bay mountains. This property is perfect for families or friends seeking a scenic and relaxing retreat. As you step inside, make your way to the sunroom from where you can enjoy the stunning coastal views beyond. The heart of the home is undoubtedly the kitchen/diner, fully-equipped for all your culinary needs. There is also a separate downstairs sitting with TV and library of books and DVDs where you can relax. A separate utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, ideal for longer stays. Outside, the front garden offers a lush lawn, a patio area and a picnic bench, perfect for enjoying meals or a hot coffee in the open air while soaking up those incredible views. Head upstairs to discover a fun-filled play room, equipped with table football, a children's dart board and a TV monitor, sure to keep guests of all ages entertained. When it's time to rest, you'll find four bedrooms with two on the ground floor for easy access. There are two doubles on the ground-floor, one of which houses an en-suite bath and walk-in shower for an extra touch of convenience. Upstairs, there is another double and a family room with a double and single bed. Both of these have en-suites which along with a third first floor bathroom, helps ensure there are never any morning rushes to get ready! Enhancing the biodiversity on the property, there are six bee hives located in the woodland, 250 metres from the house. Managed by an experienced beekeeper, these hives contribute to the natural splendour of this idyllic retreat. As indeed does the wildlife pond located down a slope from the front lawn. Beyond the confines of Lighthouse Hill, embark on a day out to Westport to delight in the panoramic views while on a Clew Bay Cruise, or perhaps show your respects at the sombre National Famine Memorial, a poignant reminder of Ireland's history. For any golf lovers in the party, the Westport Golf Club offers a great day out on manicured greens, while avid walkers can set off on the Letterkeen Trailhead for a scenic journey, or explore the ruins of Burrishoole Abbey for a taste of the area's history. Breathe in the fresh coastal air as you meander along the stunning Claggan Mountain Coastal Trail, before returning to the warmth and ease of Lighthouse Hill to recount your adventures.
