Take the short trip to Ballina and on to neighbouring Enniscrone, where the wild Atlantic breeze will colour your cheeks as you walk the stunning beach. Travel to the county town of Castlebar for a days shopping and further on to Westport, an oasis in the west and home to many traditional pubs and restaurants. Visit the nearby Museum of Country Life at Turlough, Castlebar and learn about past generations as they toiled the land. Return to Foxford for an evening of relaxation, dine in the local restaurants or enjoy a glass with the locals in the pub.
