On warmer nights, open the bi-fold doors to let the outside in as you dine at the table for four, followed by a glass of wine in the garden which has plenty of outdoor seating, lawn space, and a secluded decking to stargaze by the fire pit. Cooler nights can be spent snuggled up in the sitting room with a wall-mounted Smart TV for entertainment. When it's time to unwind, head upstairs to freshen up in the bathroom, before retiring to the double bedroom where you'll awaken to views of the rolling fields. Mary Tavy is a picturesque village to call home whilst exploring Dartmoor: with a Post Office and shop, The Mary Tavy Inn and plenty of attractions close by such as the Merrivale Prehistoric Settlement, scenic walks to Roos Tor, and Becky Falls Ancient Woodland Park. The Tamar Valley AONB is also within easy reach to explore the National Trust properties of Cotehele and Buckland Abbey, along with plenty of walking trails. Spend the day exploring the market town of Tavistock with its Pannier Market and museum, whilst Okehampton sits further north for the Museum of Dartmoor Life and the medieval ruins of Okehampton Castle.
