The bustling town is only a short walk from the house and there you will find a good selection of pubs, restaurants, and cafes in what is increasingly becoming a foodie hotspot. There is always plenty of sailing activity on the water and you must catch the regular foot ferry over the river to check out the quaint cottages and alleyways of Polruan. For a day out at the beach it is just a brief stroll to Readymoney Cove where you can enjoy the sandy beach with its popular café, paddle the clear waters or just soak up the views. Walkers can join the South West Coast Path within minutes and there are plenty of local circular walks giving splendid coastal and harbour views.
