Visit the Ilfracombe Aquarium which offers local fish exhibits, feeding demonstrations and has a café and gift shop. Sink your toes in the sand on Cheyne Beach, a small stretch of sands between the headlands, before heading to Capstone Hill where beautiful views of the surrounding coastline can be enjoyed as well as panoramic views of the town. A must-visit is the famous Tunnels Beaches; four tunnels hand-carved in the 1820s leading to a beach and Victorian tidal bathing pool.
