Further afield is the seaside town of Salcombe, where you can visit the Salcombe North Sands beach for a family day out, or sample some of its traditional pubs and restaurants for that fine dining experience. Just a few miles from Salcombe is the wonderful Edwardian house and landscaped gardens at Overbeck's. Travel towards the thriving coastal town of Dartmouth which offers a range of popular tourist attractions including the 14th century Dartmouth Castle and Blackpool Sands beach, perfect for a family day out playing a variety of beach games.
