From the parking area at the front of the cottage, you will enter to find a magnificent lounge with high vaulted beamed ceilings. Large windows flood the room with light, giving a wonderful outlook over the pretty cottage-style garden. A cosy woodburning stove is the focal point of the room and is perfect for chilly evenings. The kitchen, in one of the oldest parts of the cottage, oozes charm with its mix of exposed timbers, slate flooring and an AGA yet with the convenience of modern appliances including an electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher to ease your stay. The adjoining dining room is another spacious room where mealtimes can be savoured - whether breakfast before your day out or a delicious evening meal. A smaller sitting room provides a quiet spot for relaxing with a good book. The first of the bedrooms, a king-size bedroom, which can be made up as a twin room, is located on the ground floor with an inglenook fireplace (though this wood-burner is not in use), and a little sun-room – perfect for that early cup of tea.
