Moving upstairs, there is a bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower, so choose to take a long soak or get a quick shower to wash those sandy feet after a day at the beach, before relaxing in the armchair on the landing with a selection of books for some quiet time. For a more lively day out, take a short drive to the town of Teignmouth where there are two beaches, a bustling grand pier, an idyllic lighthouse and the opportunity to hire a boat which makes for a great afternoon on the water. Slightly further afield is the cathedral city of Exeter with its medieval bridge, choice of museums and art galleries, and eateries looking over the River Exe, as well as the Crealy Theme Park and Resort on the outskirts which is a worth while day out, especially for the children.
