Aunty June's cottage is a charming converted cottage located within the Dartmoor National Park on a family farm which has been in the family for generations. This pet-friendly holiday retreat, ideal for a group of friends or a small family, boasts an enclosed garden and far reaching views. From your allocated parking enter the cottage, passing the handy boot-room, ideal for pet owners, and enjoy the view of the Moors from the kitchen window. The chefs in your party will enjoy the well-equipped kitchen with its fridge/freezer, double oven, and induction hob. Gather for a meal in the dining room next to the large ornamental fireplace before relaxing in the living room with its Smart TV and a wood-burner-effect electric fire. If the skies are clear, head out to the enclosed garden to try and catch a glimpse of the stars over Dartmoor. Guests are welcome to walk in the wider gardens, but please note there are ponds in the grounds, so those with young children should take care. At the end of the day, choose from one of the two well-appointed bedrooms, choose from a twin served by a ground-floor bathroom and shower room, or the king-size bedroom complete with its own en-suite shower. The owner runs Dartmoor Tours from his trusted Landrover. If you would like to explore the National Park with a local expert, do reach out at the time of booking.
