The property

A spacious Victorian townhouse nestled in the town centre of Looe, on the Cornish coast. Set in an elevated position, on the banks of the estuary, this property is the perfect base for friends or families seeking a seaside escape. Step into the open-plan living space where you can look forward to unwinding after a long day, with the TV to provide plenty of entertainment for those quieter evenings, with a large bay window offering some of the most magnificent views of the river. This room also has a dining area which provides ample space for family gatherings over a hot meal and a refreshing beverage. Walk through to the kitchen area which is amply-equipped with everything you will need to set you up for a weekend in the countryside. Follow the steps up to the first floor which has a super king size double bedroom and access to a family shower room, whilst the second-floor provides two further super king size doubles, one of which benefits from its own balcony area. Each of the beds benefit from top of the range Naples pillow top mattress' for the best nights sleep. Enjoy your morning cup of tea on the balcony and watch the sun rise over the river, with a good book to keep you company. During the summer months, choose to dine alfresco with those estuary views as your backdrop, perfect for a romantic meal. Tempting though it might be to spend your whole break here soaking it all in, there's a huge choice of things to do to suit all ages and tastes. While you're in the area, visit East Looe Beach for a fun-filled afternoon on the golden sands, learning how to surf, swimming or spotting all the local wildlife and birdwatching. For a spot of history, venture towards the Old Guidhall Museum and Gaol, a local history museum which dates back hundreds of years. Close to the Polperro Heritage Coast, which combines with part of the South West Coast Path, ideal for keen walkers and cyclists. Elmbank is the ultimate choice for a seaside break to the south coast of Cornwall.
