The outside space is a real highlight, with side and rear gardens offering furniture sets for alfresco dining, plus a raised balcony with seating, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee from. As the evening come to a close, laze away with a soak in the bath or step under the rainfall shower for a quick rinse, before choosing between two refreshing bedrooms; the master offers a king-size whilst the second room is a triple bunk with 4’ double and a single above. Within a moment’s stroll there is a large supermarket where you can stock-up on the essentials for the week, while a little further on lies a wealth of cafés, delis, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. Brush up on local history with a visit to the Kingsbridge Cookworthy Museum, wander to the Quay for picturesque views or sample the finest beer during a tour at the Salcombe Brewery. During the summer, there are ferries running to Salcombe, where you can relax on the sandy coves or test your skills in a watersport activity, including kayaking, paddleboarding and powerboating. Nearby beaches at South Milton and Bantham are perfect for a day by the sea, where you can take a dip, or sit and watch the world go by. Within the town there is a great selection of boutique shops, high street brands and independent producers – why not try the famous Salcombe Gin and Ice Cream? Head to Dartmouth discover what life what like here many centuries ago at Dartmouth Museum and the 14th century Dartmouth Castle, a must for those keen historians.
