Close by, there are plenty of shops for any essentials, and there is a chance to have a drink or two at The Coach House, which is less than a mile from your cottage. Of course, Paignton has plenty of beaches to let the day take you away by basking in the sun, but it doesn’t have to just be building sandcastles for the kids—The Geoplay Park will keep them entertained for hours before a trip to the Paignton Zoo Environmental Park. An easy walk through the town centre after a non-stop day should lead you to a variety of restaurants to satisfy your cravings. If you can possibly get enough of Paignton, Torquay will be shouting your name to take part in some Torquay watersports or Funfish Trips & Pleasure Cruises to spot any sea creatures in the wild.
