Further from the property you will find the bustling city of Plymouth where there is a selection of historic sites, including the Mayflower Steps Memorial, the Royal Citadel and walks through the Laira Heritage Trail. Plymouth also sports a great many eateries, shops, and coastal views, however if you love animals, then a visit to Dartmoor Zoo is a must. From here there are several walks through Dartmoor National Park, and you can indulge in sightseeing and wildlife spotting at sites such as Brisworthy Stone Circle, Burrator Reservoir and Yelverton Rock.
