Detached and well-screened from the owners' neighbouring farmhouse, it is nicely private and makes the perfect escape at any time of year. Enter the spacious open-plan living room and discover a tasteful blend of the modern and the rustic. Oak wood floors, exposed beams, modern art, soft lamps, and a deep rug add to the comfort, elegance, and style. A deep sofa and armchair adorned with coordinated cushions and throws sit beside a woodburning stove, and there are books, DVDs, and board games for toasty nights in. The modern kitchen is well equipped with gadgets aplenty, including a coffee machine. Romantics can enjoy suppers at the dining table set within an inglenook or on the south-facing patio during the warmer months and watch the sun set. A sumptuous bed dressed with plump pillows and soft cotton bed linens awaits in the first-floor bedroom. An intimate and open-plan design, a low wall separates the bed area from the bathroom area with its bath, sleek shower, and a loo tucked into the corner.
