Once forming part of Lyme’s many inns and converted back to cottages, Dolphin Cottage retains much charm and offers characterful accommodation with bright and airy décor throughout. The sitting room houses an ornamental fireplace, tasteful furniture, and a window seat, where you can enjoy your favourite book, or watch the world go by. Rustle up a family dinner in the freshly styled kitchen with all of the amenities to assist you in your self-catering requirements.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a spacious king-size bedroom at the front of the cottage and a smaller bedroom, with bunk beds, located at the rear. The bright family bathroom is also located on this floor and has a bath with shower over, ideal for a refreshing morning shower before you begin your day.

Outside the garden, located at the rear of the property, is a peaceful place to enjoy the sun, or evening drinks. Mainly gravel with a patio area and mature cottage planting, this delightful space provides the opportunity to dine alfresco during the warmer months of the year. The cottage is set back from the hustle and bustle of the town but is in quiet street with fairly level access to the sea, only a short stroll away.

Lyme Regis is a thriving seaside town full of amazing activities and intriguing history and is well known for being the heart of the Jurassic Coast, where visitors can enjoy walks along the seafront and south west coast path, as well as spending time on the beaches with the family perhaps finding fossils amongst the rocky shores. If you wish to know more about the prehistoric world hidden beneath the rocks, take a visit to Dinosaurland Fossil Museum in Lyme Regis or the Heritage Coast Centre at Charmouth. The area offers a great selection of eateries, restaurants and pubs, many of which showcase local food and beverages, and there are also ample independent stores selling local art and craft to be explored.

Other popular days out include the Axe Valley Wildlife Park or the Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth, which is open throughout the year.
