Occupying a wonderful location in the heart of the picturesque seaside town of Lyme Regis in Dorset, is this beautifully presented cottage, Waverley. The ideal destination for families on holiday, the cottage is well-presented with an abundance of character and style; the perfect retreat to come home to at the end of a day full of adventures.

The open-plan living space is warm and inviting with plenty of stylish seating and an attractive woodburning stove forms the focal point of the room, making it the ideal spot for gathering, curling up and recounting your day's adventures. Step into the cottage-style kitchen where you will find everything you need to create delicious food for hungry family members. The traditional dining table welcomes diners to come together and appreciate some good food, drink, and each other’s company. Upstairs there are two extremely well-presented bedrooms, the perfect place to retire to at the end of an exhausting day of discovering the delights of Dorset; choose from a stylish double and an elegant twin with a shower room and a bathroom completing the accommodation.

Waverley boasts some fantastic outside space with a decked veranda which has a fabulous seating area with views over the town of Lyme Regis. Steps lead down to an enclosed courtyard with table and chairs, where guests can spend some quality time alfresco, eating, drinking and soaking up the vistas.

Talking of views, Lyme Regis is just a short walk away and offers a maze of narrow streets which are home to a great selection of independent shops, galleries, cafés, and restaurants. There are fantastic family-friendly beaches here, walks along the Jurassic coast and even a museum and an aquarium, both of which are well worth a visit. Other family attractions in the area which are popular with visitors include Dinosaurland Fossil Museum, Seaton Tramway and Axe Valley Wildlife Park. Take a Boat tour or fishing trip from the famous Cobb harbour and nearby towns such as Charmouth and Axminster or the pretty fishing village of Beer are worthy of a visit.
