This quaint holiday cottage rests in the popular coastal village of Burton Bradstock in Dorset. With exceptional period features, including wooden beams and inglenook fireplace dating back to the 16th century, Dormouse is a quintessential village cottage in an ideal location for both country and coastal lovers. A charming, well-equipped cottage style kitchen, and a snug sitting room complete with dining table for three invites you to prepare and enjoy a romantic meal, whilst the enclosed patio area is the perfect secluded area to sit and enjoy a drink. When you’re ready, head out to explore Burton Bradstock and visit the famous Hive beach café or savour a meal in one of the local pubs. Spend time meandering whilst taking in the stunning local coastline or take a drive to West Bay, which is less than two miles away, giving you a chance to explore the colourful fishing harbour and to sample some of the locally caught crabs and lobsters. A drive to historic Abbotsbury is also highly-recommended during your time in the region, after you have explored the village and you have paid a visit to the sub-tropical gardens and Swannery, you can journey along the coast road which spans the whole of the Chesil beach and view the breath-taking coastline from the top of Abbotsbury Hill.
