The property
A beautiful period cottage just off Brewers Quay Lobster Cottage is located in one of the most picturesque and popular areas in Weymouth hosting several festivals throughout the year.
A few steps from the property is the old harbour where you can spend a lazy afternoon admiring the flotilla of fishing boats and yachts come and go or letting the children try their hand at crabbing.
Lobster Cottage has been restored to a high standard and benefits from off-street parking for two small cars, a rare and real bonus in the Brewers Quay area.
Accommodate up to six guests in three bedrooms, situated on the first and second floors, Lobster Cottage is perfect for a family or group of friend’s holiday. The second-floor double bedroom is an en-suite shower room with basin and WC.
Brewers Quay is home to numerous restaurants, coffee houses and pubs, perfect for eating alfresco freshly caught sea food or provincially brewed beer. The town centre with the usual high street shops and narrow streets with quirky local shops is a leisurely stroll away. For days when the weather is not too good Weymouth has a cinema and amusements. On the edge of town is the award winning blue flag sandy main beach with its shallow bathing waters.
The South West Coast Path makes the perfect walk around the Isle of Portland, if you enjoy discovering places on foot, make sure to take ramble along the beautiful Fleet Nature Reserve until you reach gorgeous village of Abbotsbury. Take a challenging walk towards Lulworth Cove with glorious Dorset countryside on your left and rolling cliffs leading the way. You will reach beautiful arc of Durdle Door, Man O’ War bay and Oswald bay where you can easily spend the day when you can catch the bus back.
