For when you don’t want to eat out, the kitchen offers everything needed to create memorable meals which can be enjoyed around the dining table or dine alfresco when the weather allows. The bedroom, a spacious double, is located on the first floor and enjoys views over the village and the countryside beyond. The bathroom is also located on this floor, with both a bath and electric shower giving you the choice of how to freshen up ahead of your day. A quintessential Dorset village, Whitchurch Canonicorum is a pretty mix of traditional stone and thatched properties alongside the historic church of St Candida and St Cross. A traditional family run pub, The Five Bells, offers a warm welcome and a great choice of local beverages and pub food. Located in the Marshwood Vale, the area sits within the Dorset area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and is crisscrossed with popular countryside walks and is well worth visiting hilltops like Pilsdon Pen, Lambert’s Castle hillfort and Lewesdon Hill for fantastic views over miles of countryside and to the coast beyond.
