Take a dip in the waters at Seagrove beach, with gently sloping sands into the clear water, it is a popular site for swimming and other watersports including sailing. The town of Ryde has a wider selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as museums and galleries to discover. Appley Beach is another stunning beach with golden sands, and has some of the warmest waters on the island in summer, and it’s bordered by a lovely green park with a children's playground. There are many other attractions on the Isle of Wight within reach including Amazon World Zoo, Carisbrooke Castle, Monkey Haven and the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, all well-worth visiting.
