The Retreat is a charming house nestled on a corner plot in Freshwater, Isle of Wight, surrounded by trees and offering sea glimpses from the patio. Just a short stroll from the beach, with off-road parking available, it provides an ideal getaway for families or friends seeking coastal tranquillity. Upon entering this single-storey abode, you will be greeted by a tastefully decorated open-plan area, where you can enjoy quality time with your loved ones. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, which can be enjoyed at the dining table. After dinner, retire to the sitting room, where you can relax and unwind, perhaps with a good book or a favourite film on the TV. When it's time to rest, choose from two nautically-themed bedrooms; a double and a twin, both offering ample storage for your holiday attire. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and an overhead shower, a basin, a heated towel rail, and a WC, perfect for rinsing off the day’s sand with a quick shower or unwinding with a soothing soak. Step outside to the quaint front patio, where comfortable seating invites you to savour your morning coffee or unwind with an evening drink. Relax as you enjoy gentle sea breezes and glimpses of the coastline, with plenty of room to soak up the fresh air and peaceful surroundings. Once settled at The Retreat, step out to explore the local area. Don't miss The Needles Landmark Attraction, a striking trio of chalk sea stacks that rise dramatically from the sea, offering an awe-inspiring view. For a great family day out, Tapnell Farm Park and the Hurst Castle are a must-visit. Enjoy the panoramic vista at the National Trust - The Needles Headland & Tennyson Down, where you can soak in the beauty of unspoilt coastline and lush greens.
