The ground floor features a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare family favourites to be enjoyed at the six-person dining table as you raise a glass to a wonderful getaway. After dinner, head through to the inviting sitting room, where you can unwind on the plush seating in front of the electric fireplace while watching your favourite film on the Smart TV with Freeview. Take the stairs up to the first floor, where you'll find two bedrooms, a double and a triple bunk, and a bathroom with a bath and an overhead shower. Next, take the stairs to the second floor, where you'll find a tastefully decorated double bedroom, served by a stylish shower room. You can take a canoe ride out to the National Trust Derwent Island and House, or take your loved ones out for a meal at Casa Bella, Star of Siam, or The Bank Tavern. You can also visit the Keswick Museum, Derwent Pencil Museum, and Puzzling Place. Bassenthwaite is close by, and it's a great base from which to explore the Lake District and its many attractions, such as the Bassenthwaite Lake National Nature Reserve and Dodd Wood, the renowned Skiddaw Peak, the Lake District Wildlife National Park, and the Lakes Distillery. Ullswater is further afield, and it's where you'll find the beautiful Aira Force Waterfall (a National Trust site) in addition to great boating and hiking.
