Entering the cottage you are greeted by a spacious entrance hall which leads to the sitting room which has been furnished as a TV room, complete with a smart TV, large comfy sofa and coffee table. Off the sitting room, through a pair of double doors, there is a lounge with games and TV, which has been furnished in a traditional cottage style. This room has a wood burning stove, a large comfy sofa and armchair and a small games table. There is also a well stocked games cupboard. From here, a single door leads from the games lounge into the dining room which contains a large dining table with seating for eight. There is also a large sofa . You then enter the stunning, well equipped kitchen which is furnished with shaker style units, a large dual fuel cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and built in dishwasher. There is also a small utility room which contains a washing machine, tumble dryer and WC. On the first floor there is a large master bedroom with king size bed, ensuite shower room, hand basin and WC. Next door there is a large double bedroom with king size bed, en-suite shower room, hand basin and WC. You are just a 10-minute walk from Derwentwater, the most dramatic and beautiful of the Great Lakes. Here guests can take part in a number of activities including taking a leisurely trip on the Derwent Launch, row,kayak or board on the lake. The more adventurous can take a guided mountain bike tour in the fells. Many short and long walks can be started from the front door of the house.
