The accommodation is well-located near town, ideal for couples with spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Guests appreciated the homely feel, but noted cleanliness issues and temperature inconsistencies between floors. Some expected a welcome pack, and parking had height limitations. The property is just minutes from the heart of vibrant Ambleside with its host of restaurants, outdoor shops and boutiques. Zeffirellis cinema, pizzeria and jazz bar is a treat not to be missed, and the adorable house on the bridge offers a lovely photo opportunity.
A short stroll from the village and you will reach Waterhead and Lake Windermere. Guests cannot miss the opportunity to take a cruise across the water to Bowness or Lakeside. The picturesque village of Hawkshead is a short drive away, with Hill Top and the Grizedale Forest a little further on. A car ferry crosses back to Bowness making the perfect route around the lake.
