Venture up to the first floor to discover an inviting sitting room, where you can unwind after a day of exploration. Sink into the plush seating and enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV, or simply bask in the warmth of the electric fire as you gaze out at the lovely views. The property boasts five well-appointed bedrooms, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for your group. The master bedroom, with two 4' beds pushed together, sits on the first floor and benefits from an en-suite shower room, perfect for extra privacy whilst freshening up. The ground floor hosts a king-size bedroom and a twin room, serviced by a shower room, whilst a double and a single bedroom can be found on the upper floors, with a bathroom featuring a P-shaped bath and a shower over, adjacent. Step outside to the multi-level garden, where you can enjoy a morning coffee on the gravelled area, or spend sunny afternoons on the lawn; the outdoor furniture and picnic bench provide the perfect setting for alfresco dining or simply soaking up the serene surroundings. If you don’t fancy cooking, you can enjoy drinks & pub snacks or the fine dining experience in the villages Michelin star pub ‘Heft’ which is just a stones throw away from the barn. Alternatively the beautiful village of Cartmel is just 3 miles away with many pubs, shops, cafes and eateries. Other pubs are 1.8 miles away in Lindale and Grange over Sands. Cartmel Races has several racing fixtures throughout the summer season providing enjoyable race days combined with music and entertainment. There is also the Annual Cartmel Agricultural show in August.
With a plethora of activities and attractions on the doorstep, guests will be spoilt for choice. Auto enthusiasts can explore the classic cars on display at the Lakeland Motor Museum, while nature lovers can appreciate the beautiful setting of the National Trust's Fell Foot. Stroll through the manicured Ornamental Gardens or immerse yourself in local history at the Cartmel Priory, a beautifully preserved medieval church. Visit the National Trust's Sizergh, an impressive medieval house with rich gardens, followed by a trip to the Low Sizergh Barn Farm Shop & Café for a delicious homemade treat. There are many cycle paths, wonderful bike trails and walks from Chapel House forestry commission carpark which is 2.5 miles from the barn. There are miles of trails leading up to Chapel House wood giving panoramic views of Windermere and the mountains.

Let the little ones run free at the Lakeland Maze Farm Park before taking a hike to the panoramic Orrest Head Viewpoint, which boasts breath-taking views of Lake Windermere.
