Green Yew is an impressive newly refurbished 18th century farmhouse located in the little village of Winster, just a short distance from Bowness-on-Windermere, Cumbria. Offering guests wonderful, open-plan living areas on the ground floor and luxurious bathrooms this holiday home is not to be missed if you are seeking a truly high-quality and comfortable escape to the Lake District. You enter into an open-plan living space which serves as the hub of the home. Fitted with a kitchen, a dining space for enjoying meals and a sitting area with a woodburning stove to keep you nice and toasty on a cold winter night. For those longer stays, the farmhouse is fitted with a utility room with a washing machine and dryer which ensures your needs are met, especially after a long mountain hike! There are several bathrooms and shower rooms to make sure there are never any morning rushes. After a day of adventures in the vast countryside, take a much-needed dip in the bath to wash away any aching muscles. Or for something a bit quicker, enjoy a steamy rinse down in the spacious shower. When it's time to rest, there are plenty of bedrooms offering a range of sleeping arrangements. Choose from three super king-size bedrooms or a twin where you can catch your rest before heading out nice and fresh the next day. Watch the sun rise from the patio area with a nice roasted coffee or explore the two acres of gardens that surround the area. When you're settled in, the Lake District is just waiting to be explored. Winster Valley boasts white washed farmhouses, highly recommended pubs, walks and hikes through woodland and the famous Damsons.
