Located in the heart of the Lake District, Coniston is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions to keep visitors busy. The Grizedale Forest is a great place for hikers and mountain bikers, while Go Ape Grizedale offers a more adventurous experience with its tree-top ropes course, perfect if you’re travelling with youngsters too! The National Trust - Tarn Hows is a must-see, especially in the fall when the leaves change colour, and the highlight of a visit to Coniston is undoubtedly the Coniston Old Man, a stunning mountain trail to walk in the area.
