Park-up on the shared driveway with space for one car, before stepping into your new home-from-home. On the ground floor you will find two well-presented double bedrooms, both with plenty of storage and a family size bathroom, ideal for long soaks after a day of hiking through the fells. Follow the winding spiral staircase up to the first floor, where you will be welcomed into a spacious open-plan living space, here you can cook up a storm in the amply-equipped kitchen, featuring a handy dishwasher and washing machine, before savouring a delicious meal at the dining table for four. After a hearty meal, retire to the sitting room with it’s high ceilings and exposed beams, where you can watch a family favourite on the Smart TV as the woodburning stove crackles nearby. On those evening’s where you don’t feel like cooking, head over to the popular Black Swan Inn, where you can treat your loved ones to a tasty meal and sample the local ales, with the added bonus of it being a stone’s throw away! For a wider selection of amenities, take the short drive over to the riverside village of Langwathby, where a wander through the village will find a large village green, an 18th-century church, a well-stocked convenience store and the welcoming Shepherd’s Inn pub. For easy transport links visit the Langwathby Station where you can grab a coffee at the wonderful Brief Encounter Café, before setting off to the surrounding towns and cities along the Carlisle to Settle Railway.
