On colder nights, gather the family in the welcoming sitting room where the crackling woodburing stove greets you and enjoy a well-earned family film night on the Smart TV before washing off the day’s adventures in either the lower-ground-floor bathroom, the bathroom on the first floor or the shower room on the second. When yawning begins, choose from eight beautifully-appointed bedrooms; there is a super-king-size and two double on the lower-ground-floor, two super-king-sizes completing the first and one double and two twins finishing off the second floor. If you can tear yourself away from this idyllic abode venture into the heart of Egremont where you can stock up on all your self-catering goods or enjoy a much-needed break from the kitchen at O’Hallorans or further afield at The Royal Oak in Beckermet.
