All on the first floor, this apartment in Grange-over-Sands has one double bedroom and a light and airy sitting room with a Juliet balcony looking out across to the Kent Viaduct and Arnside Knott on the Lancashire coast. Outside this Grange-over-Sands apartment there is a delightful garden, so no matter what time of day it is, you can sit outside, perhaps enjoying some of the local produce sold by the many excellent specialist food shops in the town. The colourful town centre of Grange-over-Sands can be reached within a short downhill walk, with a steep incline on the return journey, and has a lovely promenade area with fine gardens and a traditional bandstand. Cartmel, home of the sticky toffee pudding, is a short drive away and has a beautiful medieval priory, excellent restaurants and a stream running through the centre, complete with ducks. Cartmel is a perfect English village, ideal for a lovely day out, exploring the area. The popular and bustling town of Bowness-on-Windermere is a short drive from your holiday apartment and is the gateway into the beautiful Lake District.
