The owners have taken pride to create a high quality property that offers fantastic accommodation in a first class location ideal for family or friends whatever the time of year.All laid out on the ground floor, this bright & airy contemporary home is on the edge of the village, 5 minutes walk from the famous Swan Inn for a cosy pint and food. The Michelin starred Forest Side is probably 10 minutes walk away if you can book a table! Grasmere itself has many little bistros and pubs, and interesting shops/galleries to wander around as well as stunning walks all around and up to Loughrigg Fell. “The fairest spot and earth” was how William Wordsworth described Grasmere 200 years ago and today this pretty village, remains one of the most delightful parts of the Lake District. 'Lanterns' is a great location and a comfortable contemporary place to stay.
