A delightful, stone-built wing of a converted barn situated in a quiet location within the small hamlet of Kirksanton. This all ground floor Kirksanton cottage provides warm and cosy accommodation in an unspoilt and largely undiscovered corner of the Lake District. Just a stone's throw away from this Kirksanton cottage is the local pub, where you can enjoy a refreshing beverage and bar meal, whilst the delightful beach is a fifteen minute walk away, plus there are walking opportunities available from the doorstep, including Black Combe, a challenging ascent well worth the effort for the breathtaking views on offer. There are many idyllic coastal walks available and for the more energetic, the magnificent fells at Wasdale Head, including Scafell, are nearby. This Kirksanton cottage is a great base for visiting local attractions such as Muncaster Castle and the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway.
