Outside is a lovely sitting area with a path to the entrance porch. The sitting room is beautifully appointed, with beams, window seat and feature fireplace with wood burning stove. A lovely room for unwinding after a busy day on the lake or out walking. The kitchen is modern, light and extremely well-equipped. Here guests will find everything needed to whip up a hearty breakfast or delicious evening meal.
Upstairs are two fantastically comfortable bedrooms, cleverly planned to accommodate two couples or family. The Twin room can be made in to a super king if requested in advance. The house bathroom is modern and has P-shaped bath with shower over. Secure bike storage is available outside the cottage, along with parking for one car in the shared parking bays. Please note that this is a very old property and has steep stairs, a step in the kitchen and uneven floors upstairs.
Coniston and the surrounding area have so much to offer, but if one thing must not be missed it is to cruise the lake onboard its famous Victorian steam yacht gondola.
