Outside there is a garden and patio area, which boasts views of the surrounding countryside, ideal for warm summer evenings, dining alfresco. From this Northumberland cottage there is excellent walking opportunities, across the likes of the National Trust Nature Reserve of Allen Banks and Staward Gorge, plus fishing and golf are available nearby, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. Historic sites are also in abundance, where you can tour Langley Castle, Featherstone Castle and even the Housesteads Roman Fort – Vercovicium, an English Heritage Site.
