A wonderful cosy, compact and romantic lodge situated in a beautiful, secluded location in the hamlet of Pennington, three miles from the ancient market town of Ulverston. Ash Lodge offers a delightful semi-rural location and provides a romantic retreat for couples who want to spend some quality time together, exploring this beautiful part of Cumbria. Set all on the ground floor this open plan lodge includes a compact kitchen, dining area and sitting area. There is a comfortable and cosy double bedroom and an en-suite shower room. The private hot tub is ideal for relaxing in after a busy day exploring the area, and the perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing drink whilst admiring the countryside views. The Cumbrian Way and plenty of footpaths run close by, making this an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Ulverston, just over 3 miles away, features many pubs and restaurants, whilst the sandy beaches of the Furness Coast are also close at hand. This lodge is perfect for exploring the beautiful Lake District National Park, which is less than a 30 minute drive away and where you will find famous lakes and breathtaking countryside surrounded by mountains.
