There is a ground floor bedroom with a king-size double bed, a bathroom and an enclosed courtyard garden, which has an abundance of pretty flowers and plants throughout the year. Guests can also enjoy a stroll around the owners’ extensive gardens. Being located in the hamlet of Rusland, just six miles from Hawkshead, there are endless lanes and paths to explore, either on foot or on your bike. Why not head out to Grizedale and discover the beautiful routes that wind their way through the forest, and perhaps visit Hawkshead and sample some of the local beer in one of the old inns? Visit Hill Top, where Beatrix Potter lived and hop on the Windermere car ferry to explore the bustling town of Bowness-on-Windermere. This special cottage is just the spot for a relaxing, romantic Lake District holiday.
