Dine alfresco in the summer time and enjoy the privacy of having your own outside space as you sip a cool glass of your favorite tipple. You are only a short distance from the town's market place, which is held on the car park at the eastern end of the main street each Wednesday. The property location is a walkers paradise and perfect for dogs, scenic and rural. You also have a traditional, Yorkshire pub, delicious restaurants and takeaways, along with various other amenities. There is a network of walking in the area, with trails leading you away from the crowds in unspoilt hills and valleys. From Woodside Avenue there is a footpath that takes you to Howgill Lane and from there you can follow a popular route through Lockbank Farm to the top of Winder and beyond. A popular attraction is Farfield Mill arts and heritage centre on the Garsdale road, just outside Sedbergh and for anyone interested in history, the Quaker Meeting House a mile down the Kirkby Lonsdale road is well worth a visit.
