A short drive away are the Cambrian Mountains and the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), which provide even more of a walking challenge. Enjoy a ride on the Brecon Mountain Railway through breathtaking scenery, the beautiful lakes of the Elan Valley or the Red Kite Feeding Station at Rhayader. At the end of an exciting day, enjoy a quiet drink in the cottage owner's village inn, which is next door.
