Just a few minutes’ walk away is the famous Mawddach Estuary Trail, which John Ruskin described as “one of the most sublime views in Europe”. Fairbourne is with easy reach, with its long sandy beach, golf course and narrow gauge steam railway. The area is renowned for its fantastic flora and fauna, and for a day trip, why not explore the ancient market town of Dolgellau, the popular resort of Barmouth or the attractive harbour village of Aberdovey?
