Next door lies the spacious living/dining room where you can gather for dinner around the table for six, set by an original feature stone wall, followed by a film night in the sitting area with plush seating to sink into. Completing the cottage are three nicely appointed bedrooms with storage space and homely decor; two doubles and a 2'6" single. There is also a contemporary bathroom and a shower room, so you can unwind after long walks through the Shropshire Hills. In the morning, you'll find a small patio area with outdoor seating to savour your morning coffee whilst planning the day's adventures. The picturesque town of Clun is a superb base in Shropshire where you can dine at the Sun Inn just over the road, The White Horse Inn, and stop for breakfast at The Maltings Cafe, while you can stock up at the local convenience store. A stroll around the town will bring you to a selection of historic sites and architecture, including The Old Bridge across the River Clun, Clun Town Trust Museum, and the 13th-century ruins of Clun Castle with sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. Surrounding Clun are plenty of walking and cycling paths, such as Offas Dyke, whilst you can explore the likes of Bishop's Castle, home to the quirky House on Crutches Museum and the dog-friendly Three Tuns Inn. Head to Craven Arms where you can discover a collection of memorabilia at the Land Of Lost Content, try a range of activities at Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, and tour the medieval Stokesay Castle. Further afield, you'll find the market town of Ludlow for the impressive Ludlow Castle, or perhaps explore more of the hills at Shropshire Hills Mountain Bike & Outdoor Pursuit Centre.
