There are excellent walks and cycle paths from the doorstep of this lodge near Clun, as well as the popular wildlife site of Clunton Coppice, just a short walk away. Bury Ditches is close by, boasting an impressive Iron Age earthwork fort, from which uninterrupted views stretching far across the horizon can be enjoyed. Enjoy day trips to Bishop's Castle, Ludlow or Shrewsbury, the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site and Stokesay Castle.
